In Kabbalah, all of creation unfolds through the dance of expansion  and contraction . Light ( Or ) expands infinitely — pure, generous, boundless giving. Yet for creation to exist, the Light must be contained. A vessel ( Kli ) must be formed — a sacred boundary that receives, shapes, and gives meaning to the Light.
